Passionate with Greek sea cuisine, Kalamatianos Seafood Restaurant creates real delight to the palate with miraculous tastes by serving Greek creative cuisine. History
Our story began in 1975 at the eastern beach of Stavros, where Georgios Zacharopoulos -a restaurateur in Thessaloniki and Kalamatianos in origin- opened a summer tavern there. Over the years, the next generation took the reins bringing new life into the restaurant and its promising menu.
Located in Milies, next to the road that leads to Mount Athos, Kalamatianos offers a fine-dining experience that makes great food an unforgettable gastronomic storytelling.
Monastery Kitchen
In collaboration with Father Epiphanios, the foremost ambassador of the monastery’s cuisine, Kalamatianos cooking team introduces classic dishes of Mount Athos to its visitors. Monastic recipes are included to the restaurant’s menu in order to show up the harmonic combination of raw Greek ingredients and tradition; a combination that glorifies Greek cuisine.

Obviously the view is the main attraction of the place and it is definitely worth it. The staff is polite and friendly and the prices are not expensive at all. The food was good, tasty, but not one you would remember for years to come. 100% one should eat here once if in Stavros.
