Passionate with Greek sea cuisine, Kalamatianos Seafood Restaurant creates real delight to the palate with miraculous tastes by serving Greek creative cuisine. Traditional recipes and new interesting combinations make the perfect match in a based-on fish menu that offers a memorable gastronomic experience.

The high quality of materials from our area is our overriding concern, when having the top-tier products from all corners of Greece determines our culinary point of view. Serving a menu full of Greece is our daily challenge and main goal, following the locality and seasonality of materials.

History

Our story began in 1975 at the eastern beach of Stavros, where Georgios Zacharopoulos -a restaurateur in Thessaloniki and Kalamatianos in origin- opened a summer tavern there. Over the years, the next generation took the reins bringing new life into the restaurant and its promising menu.
Located in Milies, next to the road that leads to Mount Athos, Kalamatianos offers a fine-dining experience that makes great food an unforgettable gastronomic storytelling.

Monastery Kitchen

In collaboration with Father Epiphanios, the foremost ambassador of the monastery’s cuisine, Kalamatianos cooking team introduces classic dishes of Mount Athos to its visitors. Monastic recipes are included to the restaurant’s menu in order to show up the harmonic combination of raw Greek ingredients and tradition; a combination that glorifies Greek cuisine.
